Great job, Mek!
Congratulations to the Shaker Heights Cheerleading team, who took 3rd Place in the Ultimate Cheer & Dance Experience competition in Baltimore, MD, in early March. This event coincided with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association’s Basketball Tournament and its Fan Fest that appealed to a diverse demographic of alumni from the CIAA’s 12 member institutions, alumni from the nation’s HBCU’s and fans of all ages. Congratulations to our cheerleaders and coaches Denise Johnson (pictured left) and Khadeja Sherrill (pictured right).
Stella is just a 2nd year wrestler, and she not only qualified for states, she ended up taking 8th place and making the podium!
