The Greater Cleveland Conference has a new program to recognize outstanding monthly performances by our GCC Athletes. Athletic Directors from the Greater Cleveland Conference will nominate student athletes from their school based on their monthly performances and accomplishments.
Brooke: So far this season, Brooke has 34 Goals Scored, 26 Assists, and 74 GB. She also broke the school record for assists in a game with 11! Ryder: At the Joe Lenge Dublin Classic, Ryder finished in 1st place in the 100m Dash with a time of 10.93, and he helped lead his 4x100m relay team to a 1st place finish with a time of 42.94!Brooke: set a new school record in the 200m dash with a time of 25.09, which is also a top 20 time in Ohio for all divisions. She also finished in the Top 3 in the 100m dash at every April invitational and won the event at the Tom Fasko Medina Relays. She also finished in the Top 2 in the 200m dash at every April invitational, including the event at the Tom Fasko Medina Relays. Brooke is also part of multiple relay teams (4×1, 4×2, 4×4) that have finished Top 3 at the April invitationals. Joey: For the month of April, Joey had a .457 batting average. He had 16 hits that included 3 doubles, a triple, and a home run. He also had a .608 on base percentage with 14 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Joey also drew 13 walks.Ella leads the team in most stats with 31 goals, 58 DCW, and 48 groundballs, leading the team to a 7-4 start. She is committed to the University of Findlay. Theodore: 1st singles tennis Team Co-Captain. Finished the 2025 regular season GCC schedule undefeated, not losing a set. Returning 2024 GCC boys Tennis Player of the Year.
EmersonMiller is a freshman standout on the SHHS Softball team. She is currently batting .682 with 2 HR, 3 3B. Emerson not only currently leads the GCC in her batting average, but she also ranks 20th in the state. Emerson also has accrued an astonishing 19 RBIs. She is also a defensive force at shortstop with only 3 errors all season and a fielding percentage of .889. Most importantly, her positive, humble attitude and incredible work ethic are contagious and contribute to her being the true definition of an all-around team player. Emerson is also a standout student-athlete for the Raider Field Hockey and Girls Basketball programs. Senior baseball player Braden White enjoyed a wildly successful April on the diamond with a .382 batting average, .467 OBP, and .647 OPS, racking up 7 extra base hits (5 2Bs, 2 3Bs). Braden is doing all of this as he returns from a shoulder injury suffered at the end of the ice hockey season, where he was a standout for the Raiders as well. Braden is a tremendous athlete on the ice and court, and an even better student in the classroom. He is committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Union College in Schenectady, NY.Addison has been a huge leader on and off the field for us. Being the returning pitcher and having a completely new defense for your varsity season can be a challenge. She has faced it head-on and made everyone around her better while taking care of the game herself. She leads the team on offense with a .348 batting average and in the circle, she’s racked up 60 strikeouts and has a ERA of 1.06. She has worked incredibly hard this off-season, including fighting through some setbacks that only made her come back stronger! Jack received the MVP at the GlenOak Invitational for setting Stadium and Meet records in both the 110M Hurdles and the 400M Dash. Currently in the conference, Jack is #1 in 110H, 200M Dash, 400M Dash, Pole Vault and tied in High Jump.
