The Greater Cleveland Conference has a new program to recognize outstanding monthly performances by our GCC Athletes. Athletic Directors from the Greater Cleveland Conference will nominate student athletes from their school based on their monthly performances and accomplishments.
Senior Delaney was the lone representative for Brunswick at the state gymnastics meet, where she finished 9th overall on the uneven bars. She finished 6th at the district meet in the same event the week before. All Gazette selection this winter, with a career high of 9.3 at Public Hall event to bring home the title for the Devils! In his 2nd year as a starter, Adin led the Blue Devils in 3pt percentage (47%) while maintaining a 4 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. As an undersized big, Adin led the team in rebounds (8.8 p/g) and was also asked to handle the ball when injuries impacted the rotation. In March, he was instrumental in road wins at Shaker and Euclid, and had a monster game in the district championship vs. Perrysburg.Anna had a tremendous performance at her 4th and final OHSAA State Championship Meet at Hilliard Darby High School. She became just the 5th Medina County athlete in the last 27 years to advance to state in 4 consecutive seasons. Schork tied for 2nd place on the balance beam, finished 4th in the all-around, and was 5th on the uneven parallel bars and floor exercise. She also was able to establish career highs in 3 events. She is the first member of the Bees to earn medals in 4 events since 2007 and the 13th gymnast in Medina County history to stand on the top-six podium at least 4 times at a single meet. Anna also captured the all-around championship at the Greater Cleveland Conference Meet and earned GCC Gymnast of the Year honors. Cliff qualified for the OHSAA Division I State Wrestling Tournament for the 3rd time in his career, where he then won the 285 pound weight class and became a State Champion! He became the third wrestler in Medina School history to win a State Championship! He has 47 wins and only one loss on the season. He has earned a top seed in the 285 pound bracket. He won his first career District championship at the Wadsworth District Tournament, after being runner-up the past two years. He also was Sectional Champion at Austintown Fitch the week before. Cliff picked up his 150th career victory in the final match at Sectionals. Campbell had 13 goals, 10 assists, 12 ground balls, and 7 draw controls in the first 3 games of the season. Oliver has helped lead the boys volleyball team to a 5-1 record on the season. He has accumulated 91 kills, 32 aces, and 10 digs during the first month of the season. Oliver had a fantastic match against Independence where he hammered 24 kills on the Blue Devils.Sierra averaged 173 in the month of February, which helped the Cards clinch the GCC Championship. In postseason play she finished 6th overall at sectionals with a 538 series and followed it up with a 527 series at districts, which was good enough to place her 17th overall.Mia Rupprecht (Freshman – Girls Bowling) has completed an impressive bowling season. She is dedicated to her craft and was awarded recognition as a team leader, best form in her sport, and Team MVP. In addition to her recognition in the aforementioned areas, Mia also earned All-GCC recognition for her efforts this season. Mia is an athlete that guides her teammates, and has exhibited drive and determination throughout the season. Mia is a three sport athlete (Soccer, Bowling, Softball) and knows what it takes to be a team player, work hard and succeed. Senior forward, Jacire Eaddy, has been a force for the Raiders Basketball team. Each night, he has to guard the best team’s player. He plays 28-32 minutes per game and there is no let down on either end of the floor. He is the team’s emotional and physical leader; a team captain in the truest sense of the word on and off the court; always present during each and every practice; a great student and ambassador in our school community; and always gives his very best effort every day and every game. In the month of February, Jacire averaged 12.8 pts per game, 6.1 rebs, 1.8 steals, and shot 44.8% from the field. Next year, Jacire will attend PennWest Clarion University on a D2 Football scholarship.Emmy Brian is an exceptional student in the classroom going above and beyond with over a 4.0 GPA. She also is a multi sport athlete that plays basketball as well. She has not missed a day of practice and her work ethic only gets stronger every year. She plays outfield for the mustangs! Sathvik started the 2026 season strong with a 2-0 record at 1st singles during the month of March. In the season opener at Twinsburg Sathvik was victorious 6-3,6-1 and continued his strong play with a 6-1,6-0 match at North Olmsted. Luke is currently leading the GCC in blocks and is 3rd in Ohio for total blocks. His talent mixed with his leadership as a captain on our team makes him an undeniable asset in every situation. He has been a standout in the league for the past few years and is very deserving of this recognition. Eric has been our leader on the defensive side, but also has created some offensive. He has 4 goals, 1 assist, 21 ground balls, and 8 caused turnovers.
