The Greater Cleveland Conference has a new program to recognize outstanding monthly performances by our GCC Athletes. Athletic Directors from the Greater Cleveland Conference will nominate student athletes from their school based on their monthly performances and accomplishments.

GCC April Athletes Of The Month

Ashley currently leads the Blue Devils with 59 goals and 18 assists on the season!
Gavin broke two school records for the Blue Devils that really shows his unselfish play and team first mentality. Gavin now holds the records for assists in a season at 40 with 1 game to go and total assists for a career at 54 with 1 game to go. He also is a member of the National Honors Society!
Leora has 34 goals and 16 assists so far this season. She is also averaging over 5 draw controls a game.
Jack has 20 hits in 44 at-bats which is a batting average of .455. He leads Medina County with 8 home runs and 21 RBIs on the season. He also is a huge part of the pitching rotation with a save and over 30 strikeouts.

Hannah is the captain of the Solon throwers. She won at the Avon Lake Invitational and has continued to set personal records throughout the season!
Brendan has been a leader from his leadoff spot this season hitting .417 with 8 stolen bases!
Stephanie Mraz has been a cornerstone in the Mustang offensive and defensive lineup over the last few years but more specifically in the last month. She currently is hitting .517 with a .828 slugging percentage. She leads the team in hits with 19 singles, 6 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases. To wrap up the month of April she went 5-5 in an extra-inning win vs St. Joes Academy.
Nick runs the 100 and 200 as well as the anchor leg of the 4×100 and 4×200. Nick won the 100 and 200 meter vs. Brunswick, Mentor, and Berea-Midpark. Nick is currently the Mustang team leader in points with 68.42
